Heti tuli mieleen, että tämä Penny Blackin leimasin sopii hyvin haasteen molempiin osiin. Ihastuttavan monipuolinen ja saa aina hymyn huulille.

A card for a challenge, 'Favourite Stamps with the option of Paper Pieced Flowers'. Absolutely I should use this Penny Black's Tulip Jungle. It fits well into both parts of the challenge. Lovely versatile and always puts a smile on your face.

Beautiful die cut bubble pattern as a wreath. Red poinsettia and green leaves darkened with ink and attached with foam tape. I made the splashes with acrylic paint.

Hyväntuulinen leimakuva, jonka taustalle tein hunajakennoa sabluunan läpi musteella. Keskelle laitettuna leimakuva olisi peittänyt hunajakennon kokonaan, joten leikkelin kuvaa vähän pienemmäksi. 

In today's card I used this cheerful image and made a honeycomb pattern in the background with a stencil. The image is colored with Derwent Inktenses and the card is decorated with enamel dots.

Isoja ja pieniä kukkia, kortti 74 / 2020

Aina välillä iskee tyhjän paperin kammo korttien kanssa.

Nettikaupat ovat täynnä uutuuksia ja tuntuu, ettei omista materiaaleista synny mitään, mutta ei ole mitään järkeä ostaa lisää tarvikkeita, kun vanhatkin on vielä käyttämättä.

Jostain piti vain taas aloittaa ja päätin, että rakennan nuottipaperin päälle kortin. Tein gessolla sabluunan läpi kuvioita, kiinnitin kuvapyörän kohotarroilla ja liimasin siihen lisäksi sekalaisen valikoiman kukkia ja lehtiä.

Sellainen kortti tänään :)

Every once in a while, you get cardmaker's block.

Online stores are full of new products and it feels like you can't get anything done out of your own materials, but there's no point in buying more supplies while the old ones are still unused.

I just had to start somewhere, so I decided I'd build a card on this note paper. I made patterns through a stencil and attached the picture wheel with foam tape. I also glued a mixed selection of flowers and leaves.

Such a card today :)

I chose a paper full of butterflies for the background of this rosy image. The card is decorated with a few butterflies cut out of the paper and attached with foam tape.

Keltainen kartonki inspiroi tähän pääsiäiskorttiin. Tulostin korttiin hauskan kuvan, jolle stanssasin kartonkiin soikean aukon. Aukon ympärille kiinnitin vielä upean sanssatun kehyksen.
This yellow cardboard inspired me to make an Easter card. I printed this fun image and die cut an oval hole in the cardboard for it. Around the hole I attached a lovely die cut frame.

Digivarastoista löytyi tällainen hauska digileima hirvestä. Taustapaperien reunat tummensin musteella. Leimasin valkoisella musteella irtokirjaimet ja lisäsin niiden valkoisuutta embossausjauheella. Kirjaimet on kiinnitetty kohotarroilla.
I found this fun moose stamp in my stash. I darkened the edges of the background papers with ink. The letters are stamped, embossed with white powder and attached with foam tape.

This lovely stamp keeps working for baptism cards year after year. This time I die cut a beautiful lace border around it. The image is attached with foam tape on top of some lace, and the card is decorated with lots of flowers.

Teksti on leimattu valkoiseen kartonkiin, jonka leikkasin tekstin mukaan suoraksi. Lisäsin toiseen reunaan kapean suikaleen kuviopaperia. Mies sateenvarjoineen on stanssattu ohuesta kuvioidusta alumiinilevystä ja kiinnitetty korttiin kohotarroilla.
I stamped the text on white cardboard and added pattern paper to the left of the card. The man with an umbrella is die cut out of thin aluminium sheet which is attached with foam tape.
